At Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Our team is made up of passionate, skilled professionals dedicated to changing lives and shaping brighter futures for the children in Central Kentucky. With a deep commitment to mentorship and community, they bring expertise, creativity, and compassion to every aspect of our work. Together, we strive to build meaningful connections that empower Littles and inspire Bigs, fostering a stronger, more connected community.

Experienced, involved, and passionate, the Board of Directors holds our CEO and organization accountable to the mission of providing children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better forever. The Board is vital to helping secure and sustain corporate partnerships and programs, aiding in our fundraising efforts, and overseeing the work of our organization.

The Big Ambassador Program, launched in 2022, is a partnership between Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass and University of Kentucky Athletics. This initiative connects student-athletes with our mission to inspire kids, champion our programs, and grow awareness. In 2023, UK Football’s Deone Walker was honored as the first "Big Ambassador of the Year," motivating other athletes to get involved as mentors.
