MATCH APPRECIATION
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass kicks off our summer by hosting our annual Match Appreciation event—a heartwarming evening dedicated to celebrating the incredible bonds between our Bigs and Littles. Matches gathered for an evening filled with fun, fellowship, and connection. Attendees enjoyed playing games, sharing a delicious dinner, and spending time with other matches. The highlight of the night was announcing our Match of the Year winners, recognizing outstanding pairs who exemplify the power of mentorship. This special event was a wonderful reminder of the impact Big Brothers Big Sisters has in creating life-changing relationships.

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
